nervous about standing on my feet for the 1st time and nausea!

I too was afraid of nausea and standing. To me the absolute worst think on this planet is nausea and the terrifying fear of vomitting, then to think about doing it with stitches... but I have to tell you it was not as bad as my fears. I did get nauseous a few hours after surgery but they immediately gave me a shot and it was gone instantly! Don't hesitate to tell them so they are prepared to help you. Again my fear of standing was worse than doing it. I was shaking but an aide was there to help me. I'll say a prayer for you. Relax and look ahead to an new beginning, it's definitely worth it.
