2 1/2 weeks post hysterectomy: blood when wiping - Is this normal?

Stressed1 The only thing that worked for me when I had what they called "child labor" gas pains was prune juice. It made all the difference!! The nurse even created a combination of prune juice and apple juice and warmed it up to make it taste better.

I had a hysterectomy 7 days ago and I was wondering the samething. I have developed an infection though. I hope I start feeling decent soon.

Hang in there sisters, it took me 5 weeks to start feeling normal again. You will feel better and love it.

I had the majority if my spotting from 2-3 weeks. Now just having brownish/yellowish I think from stitches dissolving.

Gilen20 -good to see you are getting along. I am having stomach pangs-like digesting gurgles and tightNess still. Feels bad when it's time to pee or poop.
I am 3 1/2 weeks post op and looking forward to not having a belly ache daily.
Also...Sides are still super sensitive.

My bleeding quit after 2 days and started up again 2 days ago. The infection may have something to do with mine? I have to wear a pad cause its like I'm on my period. I hope things get better. I'm a week post op so things are still new to me.

I was wondering if any one had intercourse at the 6 week. My doctor told me to wait 6 weeks but I'm a little nervous. I had my uterus and tubes removed. I'm not sure if I still need protection for intercourse. I don't want to dissapoint myself or my husband he's been very supportive.
