couple of times in the past

but surgery wasn't postponed or cancelled because of it. Dr. prescribed a vaginal cream and off we went to OR.

I recently started a program of meds that replaces the good bacteria in the bowels and lo and behold, this pesky yeast infection I had on my chest went away in just a few days. I strongly suggest eating yogurt with live cultures for recurrent yeast infections.

one more thing

I have yet to have a surgery where they didn't hang IV antibiotics, and antibiotics is a sure road to vaginal yeast infections for me and many other women. That's why I am trying the probiotics and starting it pre-op. No contraindications that I know of since these bacteria are supposed to be in a healthy bowel.

I'm also going to be sure I have a good selection of yogurt to eat in the castle. Found a health food store near the hospital and DH can get me a fresh supply.
