3 weeks post op question

I am three weeks post op LASH w/ R ovary removal today. Yesterday was my first day back to work, when I came home I started spotting. Since the surgery I never bled. Is this normal? I called the doc and will see her tomorrow. First day back wasn't so bad, but today I was exhausted at 1/2 day.

Re: 3 weeks post op question

Some spotting is normal, especially at the 3-5 week mark. There are internal stitches that are starting to dissolve and this can cause some light bleeding. It is possible that you could have overdone it a bit at work, so if possible, slow down and take it as easy as you can. Make sure you rest a lot when you get home.

Keep an eye on the bleeding and if it becomes heavy (like a period), then call your immediately.

For now, I would say it is time for you to put your feet up and pamper the the rest of the evening.

to you. I hope the spotting stops soon!!

Kygardening...i am interested to know whay your doctor says because i just did a search for this exact same issue. No spotting since day of surgery, overdid it yesterday just a bit and today i am bleeding. Seems to be getting worse as the day goes on. Let me know? And i hope everything goes well at your appointment. Hugs.
