Re: Nerves joining up

I am just now starting to get a few itchy feelings under my skin and it is almost 4 and half months since my surgery. I had numbness for an inch above and the whole length of my incision, now the edges seem to have some feeling. I had almost given up hope of ever getting feeling back in that area but this morning, I could feel something a tiny bit above the incision so I think it is just taking a very long time.

I have read that it can take up to a year or longer but sometimes, the feeling doesn't ever come back. I have gotten used to the numbness and it doesn't bother me as much as it used to so if the feeling doesn't totally come back, it will be simply another one of my quirks. =)
