article for hubby?

is there an article or something i can give hubby that will tell him how it will be? its finally sinking in on me, but i don't think he gets it.

btw thanks for all the helpful comments to my panic post a few days ago. now i'm just anxious to get it done, and relieved that it's sooner than later.

btw, i'm having a TAH, but one ovary is in question as well.

and how soon do you think i'd be up to walking down a slight incline in the yard? we have a split level home but no stairs. so we have to walk around the house to go from bed/bath/livingroom to kitchen/computers (REALLY small house at that)

thanks for any input... i looked thru the articles but most were more how to deal children it seemed. i don't have that worry.

We actually have a whole website for the guys! Check out the Mister Hystersisters Site! You can also print out the Hysterectomy Checkpoints!

Ask your doctor about the incline. We are each given different instructions depending on our bodies and our surgeries. One thing to consider is taking the incline sideways and slowly!

Best wishes to you and your upcoming surgery!

article for hubby?

thanks for the links, a couple i hadn't checked, and the book would be great but i'm going to be out of work without pay for up to 6 weeks, so money's very tight, so i can't buy the e-book tho i think that would do the trick most likely. i gave him a couple of the links, he deleted em when he thought i wasn't looking. *rolls eyes* oh well, he'll get it eventually. at least he's coming with to the pre-op appt 2 days before surgery, and will be there with me all day of my surgery.
he's aggravating, but GAWD i love this man. guess i'm one of the lucky ones. thanks gals.
