Mine was about 1 1/2 hours. Depends on what all they find once inside.

How long does a TAH take?

I had a tah/bso and was told that my surgery took about 2 hours. It seems to vary a bit depending on what all is to be done.

Best wishes.

How long does a TAH take?

They knocked me out around 11:30 and I was through recovery and in a room at 3. The waiting is the hardest part, but the reality wasn't as bad I expected.

Good luck to you and a speedy recovery!

How long does a TAH take?

My doctor told me 2-3 hours before I went in, but it ended up only taking 1 1/2 hours. I had a TAH, but kept both ovaries.

How long does a TAH take?

My doctor thought it would take a little over an hour, I was sure it would take him more like three (which is the average max), but it took him about two.

How long does a TAH take?

Mine was right at 2 hours but I went in for just TAH and once inside decision was made to remove LSO.
Surgery was scheduled at 7:30 am, I was rolled into Surgery at 7:45, Surgeon went out to talk to my husband at 9:45 and I was rolled out of recovery and up to my room at 11 am.
