I second Darlene's observation. I wouldn't think that there are any guarantees that this surgery will solve problems, only the strong likelyhood that it will.
In a perfect world, everyone would be able to talk about how surgery of this sort would make them feel, but with the understanding that the final decision would rest with the princess--you!
So, Your Highness, whatever you decide will be perfectly right. And your loyal subjects will agree, I'm sure. They love you and they want you to be happy in your own skin. After all, that will make them happy, too.
And you *know* all of us are behind you, come what may.

For myself I'm relieved that I had my hyster. Even the day before I went to the castle I didn't know if I had the energy to go through with it. Now I'm only 8 days post-op and know that I made the right choice. I was told by my gyn that I was suffering
from post tubal syndrome "I never heard of this before" and precancerous cervix. My night sweats have stopped and the pain and fitgue from the hyster is nothing compaired to before. We are all different and have different reason for having hysterectomies
but for myself I kmow I made the right choice.
Good Luck with whatever choice you make
