happiest thought about this

Ladies,

Here is a happy thought from the other side-8 weeks out, I feel, look and am better than I ever thought possible. I have energy and am able to do most anything I did before the surgery, and more! My happy moment this morning was in the tub while shaving my legs-just before my surgery, it hurt to bend and reach down to my ankle while sitting in the tub! Now I do it with ease, and am so grateful for the little things!! Best of luck to all of you with your surgery...you will be fine!!!!!

no more birth control pills - especially days that I had to take more than one
no more wondering where the closest hospital was in case I hemorrhaged!

My happy thoughts are not having to think about this constantly!!!It is consuming my every thought.Not having any more pain . Being able to enjoy my husband again!(poor guy).Having more energy( I seem to be totally drained anymore)to basical be able to enjoy life again! Jess

I was just talking about this with my DH Friday night, as I started my LAST period. I guess my body thought it would get in just one more...just for old time's sake??

I am so glad that soon I...

-wont' have to plan my life and activities around my period
-won't have to constantly wonder when my next period will start
-won't have to buy my weight in tampons and pads each month
-won't feel like a truck is driving back and forth across my body between my rib cage and kness several days a month
-will be able to travel with one less piece of luggage - won't need one just full of supplies!
-will be free to enjoy my wonderful DH much more often...like as often as I'd like to!
-will have the energy to do the things I like to do on a daily basis

Huh! All of the above LOL! Also (once I find them all) not being embarassed about accidentally pulling out a 'spare pad' that I've stashed somewhere 'just in case'

I thought this was a great idea. It is fun to think about the positive stuff not just the the stuff we are scared of. It helps to read other peoples thoughts on the good stuff. Some things I never thought about. Thanks everyone for your thoughts!!

Energy, energy, and pain free energy

l was happy to get rid of the lower back pain!l had an enlarged tipped uterus.The first thing i noticed after the spinal wore off was no more back pain at all!

No longer worrying if there was more cancer hiding in there!

I've been embarrased, not actually sure if any one has seen it, but you know how ya have extras in your purse, you're stopped at a traffic light, and you reach in your purse 4 something just to pull one big one out! ya dont know if the man in the car next to you saw it or not.
