Depression/ mood HRT

Hi everyone,

I have not been on in a while been very busy. I had a TAH/BSO 3/14. When the DR told me he was taking my ovaries ( I had a cyst on 1) I as not to happy, but he explained the problems with leaving one and after reading some post of how long it took to find just one when it need to be removed I am glad he did. Anyway I was worried about the effect of no hormones (no ovaries) would have on my depression. After surgery I felt great had energy considering I had surgery and my mood was great better then it had been in a while. Well for the last 6 weeks I haven going down hill and getting more depressed and not sleeping well, and more ache and pains then before. I am not taking any ERT or HRT. At my 6 week check up he said I was fine and wants to see me the end of July. He did not put me on any HT because my pathology report came back normal even though there where some abnormal cells. He sent it to a different pathology lab for a 2nd opinion and they said Acute Myolyoma (sp)( I am working on very little sleep so I do not remember exactly right now).He did not want to put me on anything because of this. He talked to a gyn/onc and they agreed that since I only had one factor that it was a normal fibroid but I should get a base line CAT scan. This he will have me do in July. So my question is with the way I have been feeling should I wait till the end of July or go see him sooner?

Since you are on a downhill slide, I would definatly call the doctor and request to be seen sooner and possible move up the tests. Take care and I hope you feel better soon!
