Is this a bladder problem?

Hello everyone, I had an LSH and I will be 5 weeks postop next Tuesday and will be seeing doctor that day. I want to ask her about what's going on with me when it comes to going pee. Sometimes I go just fine and sometimes when I know I have to go, not much comes out. Has anyone else had this problem? What could be going on wth the bladder to cause this? I had the LSH on Sept. 16.

Is this a bladder problem?

Hi bkh
I see you didn't get a response yesterday. I'm curious about what you found out from your dr. Bladder issues of different kinds are common after a hysterectomy because the bladder has to be moved and handled to remove the uterus. Its gets a little grumpy and will often require a little time to get over it.
I would have cautioned you to make sure you're not retaining urine when you only go a small amount. I did this and had to do some self cathing for a couple of weeks so I didn't develop an infection.
I'll look forward to your update. We're all a little different in what we experience and why, so hopefully your dr had an answer for you.
's, Rita
