Spiral notebook

I'll add you should take along a spiral notebook and a pen attached to it with a bit of yarn or string. During those first few days, you've a severe case of brain fog. Write down when you talk to the doc and what they said. Everything, and I mean everything, including when you last went to the bathroom and what you did. You can refer to the notes as necessary, because darned if someone won't ask when you can't remember.

I had a case of "metal mouth" from the anesthesia, so nothing tasted good but hot tea. The sludge they served for coffee made the metal mouth worse! (This was a tragedy as far as I was concerned.) My DH brought me a little box of Splenda packets, and I was set to enjoy tea until I sloshed! LOL!
