Is Hospital Stay Longer If I'm Also Having Bladder Repair?

What a sight I'm new to this I've got my date for April 4th getting nervous.I love this I would like any advice I'm having a TAH and bladder fix I'm getting rid of everything. Is that a longer stay?

Hello maine1, I'm not sure about longer stay I guess it depends on your Dr. & how you do after surgery. My Dr told me 1-2 days max as long as their was no complication and everything went well but then again I'm having a TVH & leaving my ovaries! I think you should ask your Dr I'd say maybe 2-3+ days but I'm not sure. I go in at 5:30AM SURGERY @ 7:30AM Keep in touch and SAVE THE DATE LOL!!! April 4th,2006!!

I had a TAH and panniculectomy (to remove some fat) and I stayed three nights. I'm sure others who have had bladder repair along with their hysterectomies will come along to give you further insight.

Thank you I go in at 6:30 and my surgery is at 7:30 I hope I love my coffee in a.m. and i hate to have to wait to long or i might get a headache. Keep in touch with me tinkerbell I'd love to hear more.
