Confused about stair climbing post-op?

I was asked not to shower right away when I got home, so I used an old camping trick. I sat down at my garden bench and had DH bring me my brush and the baking soda. It's not perfect, but I felt so much better with my hair clean. I followed up with a bird-bath at the sink, and slipped into clean jammies. Bliss!

Just pour the soda a little at a time onto your head and gently work it into your scalp like shampoo, then brush your hair thoroughly. The baking soda removes the dirt and oil that builds up. I guess that's "dry-cleaning" for hair?
