TAH Gas bubbles

Hi there! I'm 4 days post op and everything went very well.
But I have not had a BM yet! I sure have the gas, but nothing else. Is this normal? And how do I help my body?
I've been drinking a lot of water and eating fruit and veggies . Also trying to walk a bit.
But the gas bubbles in my abdomen can be painful.

I added gas-x to my daily medicines for about the first week I was home. It worked great for the intestinal gas.
My heating pad and walking helped with the residual surgery gas that was still trapped in the abdominal cavity.

I am 11 days post op and am learning very quickly that gasx and stool softeners are your friend, that and keep yourself hydrated. Good luck!
