Has Anyone Tried Kegal Enhancing Products?

Hi everybody. I am looking to purchase a kegel enhancer and I'd really appreciate anyone sharing their experience with one of those. I've had a partial hysterectomy and bladder sling surgery with cystocele and rectocele repair 2 years ago with good results. No more leaking urine and no more painful intercourse. I want to strengthen my pelvic floor to hopefully improve vaginal sensation and pleasure during intercourse.

I don't recall reading about anyone here who has used one of these devices. You might want to try googling it and seeing if you get better results that way.

According to the PT I used to see, one doesnt need anything to help with Kegels. Doing them sitting, laying down and standing is all thats suggested in order to strengthen the pelvic floor. 100/day everyday.

take care

Has Anyone Tried Kegal Enhancing Products?

I used a 'continence stimulator' during an intense program of PT to strenghen the pelvic floor. The whole program helped a lot, but I was also doing 100 kegels a day.The unit helped me to check I was doing the kegels correctly, but I suspect it was the fact that I was exercising rather than using the unit that really helped.
It's a lot of money and i also found that the internal probe made me sore. Why spend if you can do it naturally? It is also good to do it naturally to build the kegels into your daily routine.Good luck!

My incontinence physical therapist recommended a little gizmo called the "pelvic floor educator." It's a plastic plug that you stick in your vagina and a detachable stick that moves down if you are doing your Kegels correctly.

I got this thing a week ago, and I really like using it. If your pelvic floor is weak, it can be difficult to figure out whether you are using the right muscles. I also had a hard time knowing how long my muscles were actually holding the contraction. If I do the Kegels without the device, I can feel my pelvic floor pull up, but then the contraction seems to fade rather quickly. With the little plastic thing, I get nice visual feedback. I can see how my muscles slowly let go, and I can try to pull harder when the stick is moving back up.

I got the device on the web for about $20 (plus almost $10 shipping) from a company called essential control systems. I've seen it on amazon for almost $50, which is a real ripp-off.
