itchy itchy itchy - 10 days post op lavh
I had my surgery 10 days ago and things are going relatively well. My concern today is that for the last few days I have been itching really bad down there. It feels like a yeast infection. Any suggestions?? I am afraid to put yeast infection cream on it. I don't know what to do!! Please help me!!

I just had my 6 week and was beginning to get a yeast infection, doctor prescribed diflucan(pill) and that took care of it. Contact your doctor and see if they can do this for you.

There are vagisil over the counter wipes and creams that you could try - before you get your hands on an antibiotic from your doctor. I did that when I recently had a yeast infection and they helped ALOT! Hope you get in to see your doctor soon.

I wasn't sure if I could use the vagisil type creams or not. I know I can't use it inside, but wasn't sure about outside either!! Thanks so much sisters!! Oh yeah, I go for my 2 week check up either Wednesday or Thursday. Thanks again!!
