rectocyle repair with graft question

6wk PO hysterectomy with cystocyle and rectocyle repair. Dr. used graft to repair the rectocyle. I'm still very sore and have lots of orange smelly (not foul just smelly) discharge. Has anyone else had this proceedure? Is it normal at 6wk to continue to have these symptoms?

I am at 5 weeks and am still having what you described. I didn't have a cystocyle repair but a very similar rectocele repair. Don't you just love modern technology
Do you have to take stool softners for a very long period? If so, what are you using?

Love modern tech. but hate no knowing what to expect or whats normal. I took Colace stool softner for a while but don't need it now. I do however eat lots of fiber. Thanks for your reply. It's somewhat a relief to know someone else is going through the same things.
