high blood pressure

Tonight is the first time I have been a bit worried. Today is 4 weeks for me. Before the surgery, I had been having slightly higher blood pressure. In the hospital, I had alarmingly low blood pressure. I checked at one of the pharamacy machines two weeks ago and it was still low, in a healthy range, but much lower than it was pre surgery. I was hoping that all the bleeding pre op and all the b/c pills I was taking to control the bleeding were the culprit. Now, not so sure. Anyone else have blood pressure going haywire?

Again, I feel like I am being lazy and not doing too much. Sure, I have done a few things, but nothing too bad. Definately feeling frustrated right now.

Re: high blood pressure

My blood pressure was elevated before surgery too. during recovery, it dropped so low that they had me switching from side to side in the hospital bed to help positioin me better to get my blood pressure back up. I never had low blood pressure before. Now at 4 weeks post op, I'm dealing with HRT causing my blood pressure to be high again. Doctor is monitoring me, as this could cause issues with my HRT.
Besides losing a few pounds, doctor said this is out of my control, and they will have to determine a different kind of HRT and/or blood pressure meds in order to regulate me.

Re: high blood pressure

High blood pressure was one of the reasons we discovered all the "chaos" going on down there with me. Bp was so high, I was on three different meds for it- at the highest respective doses. Immediately after surgery, bp went way down-thank God. Off all meds now...bp is running normal ( on the lower side too).
