Question about bleeding?

If I am having a TAH then why would I have to worry about vaginal bleeding?

I'm not exactly sure what the answer is. Maybe if they take the cervix there would be stitches dissolving or something and some spotting? I didn't have a drop of blood after my RAH, and I wasn't told to expect any (wasn't told NOT to expect any either, though), but after reading so much on this board, I was prepared for it, just in case.

if your cervix is taken then you'll possibly have some bleeding/drainage from the incision site (top of the vagina).
