HysterSisters Website - You Rock!

Hello!

It has been an amazing journey having had Total Hysterectomy last March 23, 2016.

I am grateful to the owners and contributors of the HysterSisters website. Thank you very much for having the courage to share your stories and lessons learned. Your postings have tremendously helped me from the moment I heard about your website from a friend who also had hysterectomy.

Your weekly checkpoints have made me feel that I was in the company of many sisters (from different mothers) all over the world.

Part of what truly helped is knowing that in the midst of perhaps one of the most difficult decisions in my life, there is hope... I was not alone in this experience. Your sharings, be it positive or otherwise, painted a realistic picture on what I should be expecting pre, during, and post-hysterectomy.

I am scheduled to be back to work on Thursday, 05 May 2016.

For those reading this post and is having a challenge deciding whether to have hysterectomy or not (of course, as you see fit and necessary), do it!
