Anyone else having a good-bye party for your parts? (kids mentioned)

My wife and daughter made a rainbow cake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles for Sunday's dessert. And they sang "Happy Hyst Day to You." Totally cracked me up.

I suspect that I will say some sort of short prayer morning of, though right now I am incredibly annoyed as my reproductive system is having on final party itself and I had to buy what I hope is my very last pack of pads.

I am SO looking forward to next Thursday!

CaptainEbey-

Too bad you can't do something special with that last pad once you've gone to the castle...That would be awesome!

Captainebey - That is so awesome!

But don't get rid of the pads too soon - you'll need a few post surgery. But yeah dkknaebel - I could totally see a pad burning party.

I used a diva cup for years and have a small stash of cloth. What makes me nuts is having had to go to the drugstore to buy pads because this came out of nowhere. Freakin' body. Grr.

Great idea. I celebrated my last period... whatever we have to do to cope. :-)

DH made dinner, we went to the local bar and watched a live band (and partied like it was a birthday). Cab ride home was necessary. *blushes*

Good for you!!! I might have a big bonfire in the backyard some steak and lobster and enjoy a night with friends and family

Love the idea of a bonfire--do you plan to burn anything or just socialize around it?

We're having a cord of wood delivered this weekend (so I can help stack it before the surgery...), and I'm hopeful that it will be cold enough this weekend that we can have our first fire of the year.
