To all those ladies in waiting, read my post in the "hyst-story" section----it was a good experience for me, and I have a panic disorder, so if I can make it through, so can you!! Hooray! 
Now if I can just have a good BM, then it will be true success.......but at least I'm passing gas, and that's the main concern

Congrats on a successful surgery Newt! It is always great for those LIW to know that there are success stores out there and not everyone has problems. I, too, had a successful surgery and a great recovery and haven't regreted for a minute having the hysterectomy.

Good for you Newt!! I too had surg. on May 18th. and feel pretty good still waiting for the first pooh-pooh!!

I'm going to remember that earring maneuver for my trip to the castle. Laughed my keister off when I read that. Glad you had such a great experience! I am hoping for the same.
