Where is the Hospital Stay??

Medic, I'm sorry that happened to you! {{{hugs}}} I know what you mean though - there is *[i]something* about it that makes it extra sensitive even if someone doesn't plan on having any/any more kids. Maybe it is the finality of it. I donno, but it is the experience like the one you had that I would like to avoid! Thanks for sharing - hope you are well! : )

I don't blame you however, it is darn insensitive to do something like that, what in the **** were they thinking?

Good for you that you got the policy changed, you saved others from going through similar meltdowns!

I am so glad my dr decided to do my surgery at a surgery center instead of the hospital. I have 2 wonderful boys and part of me always wanted another one, it would have to the hardest thing to be right there with new mommies and here you are with nothing left to even consider another baby. However my sister is 64 days from being due with here 4th baby, so I guess being an aint is almost a s good.

I spoke to the nurse at the hospital who confirmed my arrival time for Monday. I asked her where I would end up after the surgery, and she said I would be in 4 South - where they put all of their 'big' surgeries. Wow. Glad that I'm not going to be in the maternity section! However, I'm hoping that I'm one of the lucky ones who gets a private room. I have a feeling that I'm going to be doing a lot of crying. Anyway, thanks again to everyone. As always, you are GREAT!!
