I agree with Suprised, at 7 months post op, it is very possibly not be related to your surgery and your gyn then would be no help. If the pain is excruciating, I think the ER is the best bet,

7+ months post hysterectomy: Scared. Really think i hurt myself this time

I've been told complete recovery and healing can take up to a year! I hope it's not adhesions, that was a concern for me with having 3 pelvic surgeries. I was told to do deep massages daily a couple times a day to try to keep the tissues from forming one hard area. Wishing you the best of luck!

I was having pain for 1 1/2 years. My doc said scar tissue and to do stretches. I tried and helped some. I had more movement in the abdomen area.. One day, I decide to quit eating granola bars with oats and for 2 weeks there is no pain!! I wonder if the flora in my stomach or bowels changed after surgery? I can't believe that I finally have no pain or major bloating! Maybe try the massaging or try cutting out some food to see if that is the problem...

Take care so sorry that is frustrating.

I'm sorry you're in pain with no answers. I've read a little about adhesions and I stopped because it didn't sound like anything I could prevent. I hope that you recover fully and this isn't a long term problem. Glad to finally hear back from you!

Regardless of what happened 7 months ago, not being able to bend your body is not good. I'm not a big risk taker, if it was me, I'd already be at the hospital. I hope you are okay!!!

Re: 7+ months post hysterectomy: Scared. Really think i hurt myself this time

not feeling good at all today. the pain is still severe on my left lower abdomen. if i push on it in the slightest it is excruciating. i have noticed some descending of the area also. i certainly did not look like this on Sunday. I'm just so tired and i feel weak and dizzy and sometimes nauseous. i was treated for a UTI with IV abx when i was in the ER. i didnt even have those symptoms. i know what a UTI feels like and this pain is not that. i called my doctor today who did the TAH and they tried to put me in 3 weeks out. i broke down and cried to the poor girl and told her what happened and the soonest i can get in is next wednesday. i honestly think walking around Saturday night with my son for Halloween is going to break me. i am at a total loss and have no idea what the problem could be. at this point i regret even having my TAH.

Awww hang in there. I pray all will be well. Not sure about what you are describing as far as the pain still being there, but I have had the sudden sharp pain when lifting. It usually reminds me not to do whatever I'm doing. I think it may be adhesions. I can't believe how much you did do! Keep us posted...maybe call your GP for some pain meds?
