A Princess At Last!

Hello Ladies! I am finally home from my reign in the Castle.

Everything went great and I just wanted to thank all of you for your kind words and support and wanted to let those of you know who are still in the "hurry up and worry mode" that it really is going to be okay.

I had a TVH with anterior and posterior repairs and I can honestly tell you that the most that I would describe the pain as is a kind of "soreness". Honest! I was more sore from having been in the stirrups for a couple of hours than I was in any pain from the surgery at all!

I didn't even need pain meds after the second day.

I was as worried as any of you, but wanted to tell you all that all the ladies on the post op side are right...waiting is the worst part. Waiting for the surgery and then waiting to go home...

I wish all the ladies in waiting good luck. See you on the post op boards!

I am glad you are home and everything went well. I went for my pre-op today and am still feeling a little anxious. I look forward to my crown.
