Well I just got back from the doc and we are going to do the LAVH. He is going to take my uterus and my left ovary. What is the recovery time from this? Have any of you had this done. What are the chances it will turn into abdominal? Thanks!!

Laproscopic Vaginal Hysterectomy
I was scheduled for a lap, but had to be switched to an abdominal due to the size of uterus, and many fibroids he found. Recovery for SAH/BSO was about 8 weeks. Good Luck

Laproscopic Vaginal Hysterectomy
I have some small fibroids, but nothing big or anything. He thinks my left ovary is adhered to my bowel and that I have adenomyosis.

Laproscopic Vaginal Hysterectomy
Orthiababe, I too am scheduled for a LAVH on the 28th, but am worried about having it changed to an abdominal. I don't get any sick pay, so I want to go back to work asap after. I find that as the time gets closer I have more fears. Dr told me I have large fibroid pushing on bladder, multiple polyps, thicking of the lining and cevical cysts.
