Vaginal Discharge

I had a total vag. Hysto in Feb 2010 (kept my ovaries)...about 4 months ago I started noticing changing in the vaginal dicharge I get one a month (right before what would have been my period) The discharge is now white, thick, oderless and it last apx 3-7 days. The problem is durning sex, It can cause sex to be "dry" and uncomfortable. It also looks gross! If I am super, and i mean super, excited the dischage is clear, thin and watery. What is going on?? Anyone else haveing this isssue?? Any suggestions??

Re: Vaginal Discharge

I have been looking for someone with simular symtoms to see what it is I should be asking my doctor to look for. You have exactly what I have been experiencing, I called my doctor and left a message for the doctor to either prescribe something or make me an appointment. I had my hysterectomy about 12 weeks ago june 23, 2011, What I have notice is I have been getting pms symtons a few times. One time my breast were really tender like they use to when I was getting ready to have my period. This time just a few days ago, I was sick like nausia, and tired. Some how it dawned on me that I was having pms. that is what would happen before my period. Soooo, I figured my hormornes are still getting use to not having a period. Now, I have a thick really deep white discharge, I have the iching and burning but no oder. I took a yeast infection pill but it didn't clear it. I think I am having some type hormonal changes that are causing me infections. If the doc calls me in a script I will let you know what it is..but, if I have to go in and see him I will tell you what he says. If you find out before I get back to you, let me know.

Re: Vaginal Discharge

Hey, the update, the nurse called in a 7 day cream which is suppose to relieve the irratation. It is a basic overpriced yeast medication. If it does not full cure the infection I am to make an appointment. It's only been one day so I hope it will take care of it. I tell you one thing I hate cream!

Re: Vaginal Discharge

I dont think what I am expericening is an infection, it goes and comes, kinda like when i would have been ovulating. I've been tracking it for a while now. just strange...best of luck to you.
