Pelvic discomfort after 1 year postop

Hi Sisters

I went to my ob/gyn for my annual pap (after having a TAH, kept one ovary) and he told me that there's nothing to check since I have no uterus or cervix, and that I have never had an abnormal pap smear. He's not my surgeon BTW, but I called him too and he concurred.

Two days ago, I had a colonoscopy and I was in such pain! they gave me the maxiumum amount of medicine to sedate me and I was fully alert and scraeming with pain. Rest of that day, next day and today I am hurting in the area where my hysterectomy was performed.

I did some reserach online and found one lady reslved all of her pelvic pain (due to adhesions) by using a rolling ball and gently stretching her abdomen. I htink it was for deep tissue massage too, just by laying on it. Well, I bought the regular Exercise Ball and not sure what to do with it.

Do any of you know of any DVD's or websites that can give me instructions on how to break up adhesions?

I'm not sure if I need to see an ob/gyn, but I do not have health insurance, but I do have Bridge Assistance with Peace Health. That's for lower-income peope who get free health care only within Peace Health (medical clinic). I feel like maybe an ultrasound is called for.

Why such a mystery? I can never remember to ask all of my questions while I am the doc's office.

Any advice is appreciatiated.
