Weepy

Im really weepy today and I dont seem to know why. I am in a ton of pain and its getting better since I got out of bed. The dog jumped on my belly twice yesterday and once last night while I was sleeping. I just dont understand why im so depressed right now. The nurse said I would be for a couple of months because of the hormones. Did anyone else have this issue?

It comes and goes for me. We've just had major hormone effecting surgery, so my doc says it's normal. I cry a little almost every day, over things that are important, and things that are insignificant. So, you're not alone in this!

((((((hugs))))))) it can take a bit for the ovaries to start working. sometimes i think general anesthesia makes me feel that way also. just take things one day at a time and dont be hard on yourself...you just had major surgery.

I had it, too. I'm not normally a weepy person, so I felt kind of thrown by the fact that I couldn't control my tears over the littlest things. It goes away though, so don't worry. I still get emotional once in a while, but not nearly as often or as bad as it was during the first month. I had a total hyst so I'm now on HRT and I think the occasional bouts of weepiness are because I'm not quite balanced yet.

Your body has been through a major trauma, your hormones are all out of whack, and on top of that, you have to deal with the emotional issues of having a hyst. It would be a miracle if you didn't feel weepy sometimes.

Hang in there and rest assured that this too shall pass.

I'm not weepy (yet) and had both ovaries removed due to the possibility of cancer, but I'm waiting and think at some point I'll hit the wall.

Ditto on the trauma. I didn't keep anything and am not on any hormones. I can deal with dry, itchy skin and being a little absent minded, but I'm not going to tolerate the weepies well if they get worse. I think they'll go away. I've had some unresolved pelvic pain for three weeks now, and haven't been my best. Lack of sleep also makes me get teary-eyed at the slightest thing.
