allergies?

anyone else have really bad allergies? i'm allergic to dust and at certain times of the year i guess the seasonal allergies aggravate my dust allergies -- none of the regular antihistamines work for me anymore and i'm kind of worried about this interfering with my surgery/recovery. also because the allergies are worse when i'm lying in bed.....

I have allergies six months out of the year, but Alergra works for me. Sorry those types don't work for you. Do let you doc know this, though, especially if your allergic to meds.

I don't think hay fever in general it will interfere with your surgery/recovery. But, you will for sure want to keep a pillow close to you so you can hold it over your tummy when you sneeze or cough. It sounds odd, but it helps support your sore muscles. In addition, after I got out of the hospital, I mostly sat, except for sleeping. Some women I know reclined a lot and did not lay down for sleeping even.

Other women may chime in with their experiences with hay fever. Maybe someone has an idea that can help you.....
