4 pounds!

How in the heck can I gain 4 pounds in almost 3 hours without eating! I got on the scale first thing this AM and then just 5 min ago (after a large BM,blushing) and I gained weight! I really think I need fluid pills from the doctor. I asked him last wk but he said no. I'm going to keep a log of my weight and show him!

Do you think 4 pounds is a lot in such a small amount of time without even eating breakfast yet? All I'm doing is drinking tea right now.

Could be water weight.....I would always weigh at least 5lbs less in the am than after lunch....I stopped weighing myself, maybe only 1 time a month..I usually go by how my clothes fit....you also are still only a few weeks post op and have a lot of internal swelling also..I am 9 weeks tomorrow and still get swelly belly in mid afternoon.....I would think it normal.....unless you have other issues with water retention, at which time I would ask your doc to run more tests...good luck
