TAH 8 weeks post-op, open incision

Hello everyone,
I'm 8 weeks post-op and had some trouble today. I'm a police officer and just got cleared by the doc to wear my gun belt. I went to shoot at our range today, and when I got home I saw that my incision (horizontal, low belly) had opened in 2 tiny spots, about 1/4 inch from each other. I was able to get a doc appt tomorrow at 1 pm, but I'm so upset. Everything has gone very smooth for me, and I've been doing so well. Has anyone had their incision open this late in the game?

Sorry you had an incision problem. I did not because my surgery was done vaginally, but I have seen on the site others who have had this happen. I am glad you got in to see the doctor. Our bodies are wonderful, but it does take longer for some of us to heal properly. I hope you heal soon. Thanks for all you do in your line of work we appreciate your service to the community.
