6 week post-hysterectomy, progress

I am going for my 6 week post-op tomorrow morning, and I feel a lot better then I thought I would. I am able to drive, after 4 weeks no driving as per Dr, I am starting to have more energy, I am able to sleep a little longer now through the nights. NO FLASHES!! That is a big thing, I have had no hot flashes, I have had mood swings, just this past weekend I have been in extremely grumpy moods and getting honkerblonked off at the drop of a hat. I still have twinges of pains here and there, still not lifting over 10 pounds, not risking getting surgical hernias, being real careful about that. I am hoping to get the AOK to go back to work in the next 2 weeks, I work retail so there will be a variety of restrictions I have to watch out for and meet before my employer will allow me to come back. so far so GREAT!!

Why did you have to wait 4 weeks to drive? was it because you had abdominal?
