Lots of brown discharge, normal?
Ok after having a TAH on nov 7th I was completely freaking out this morning when I woke up with quite a lot of brown discharge. I was told they had removed my cervix so as far as I was concerned I shouldn't have any 'mini' periods (this would be the time for my period). So is this normal ? Part of me is saying wait and see whilst the other bit of me is pressing every panic button.

Re: Lots of brown discharge, normal?
I would check with your doctor, but I have heard that this can happen - something to do with old blood left from the time of surgery. I think it would be wise to get medical advice.

Re: Lots of brown discharge, normal?
I would call my doctor just to make sure. While it probably isn't anything, it is better to let your doc know and let him/her decide if they need to check it out. I know my doc basically said anything different or of a different color to call them. Sending hugs.
