right sided pain
Hello Sisters,
I am 19 days postop from a TAH with ovaries removed. I had been doing great the last 3-4 days with hardly no pain. I have been listening to doctor's instructions but I started with a pain in my right side last night close to my hip bone. It comes and goes and it is a deep pain. Any one else????
Getting discouraged :

Re: right sided pain
I had the same type of pain on the left side, off and on for a couple of weeks. At my 6 week check the Dr said it was likely where some stitches are, and to take it easy. At 8 weeks out the pain is subsiding, though I still get an occasional twinge, usually when I roll to that side.

Re: right sided pain
I have that too, left side for me,I had pain there pre op as well, but it does seem to be easing slightly now (I am at six weeks), Perhaps it is due to stitches as I think they should be dissolving about now.

Re: right sided pain
I had that right sided pain.even felt a knot of sorts there up by incision but close to hip. Dr said normal as we have seven layers of muscles to heal in belly so its normal to feel it pulling while it heals to one side
