Orgasm two weeks after my hysterectomy

I had a hysterectomy on August 5. I had my uterus, cervix, and one ovary and both tubes removed. My vagina and one ovary remains.

I felt aroused about a week after the hysterectomy and have had some mild orgasms (contractions) in my vagina. They were not painful but actually felt very very good, better than before the operation. But today my vagina or that area feels sore.

I am afraid I may have caused some damage or affected something.

Has this happened to anyone?

Did you have sexual intercourse? If so that could be a problem. Nothing is supposed to go in the vagina. I am almost 4 weeks post op and I had a major orgasm too, but it was outer not, intercourse. No cramping. Looking forward to next weeks Dr's appt so that I can be released for real sex. LOL Hubby and I had our 21st anniversary while I was in hospital and we can't wait to celebrate :0)

No, I did not have intercourse. Not at all.

I was surprised at how good the orgasms felt and they were not painful at all.

I started having wet dreams at about 2wks post-op and i am ok.
it all depends how you are healing.
did you have outercourse or intercourse?
and as always you should stick with you doc's orders

I also had the Big O at 2 weeks post op. Didn;t have intercourse, told my doc, no damage done.

I feel like I am healing pretty well. I walk and have little pain or discomfort at the incision area or in my abdomin.

I have my 2 week followup on Friday (which is actual 2 1/2 weeks). Maybe I should call my doctor ahead of time and tell her.

All I know is, I want to keep having these fabulous orgasms!

You guys are brave! I don't think I could keep a straight face and tell my MD about my orgasms! I two have had the dreams that have woken me up happy, I figure that is my body taking care of itself and I am not in control of my dreams

I wasn't dreaming, I had the orgasms while I was awake while lying in bed, so I guess I could have stopped them.

smonroe--my husband and I celebrated out 21st anniversary in the hospital too! Happy anniversary to you and your husband.

As far a the big "O" is concerned, I've been trying not to, but am curious how it will feel without my cervix. I know some women have said that they enjoy cervical orgasms and will miss them. I don't know what kind I have--I just hope everything still works okay.
