Post op urination question
Ok I have not seen this subject anywhere so I thought I would ask...
When urinating after your hysterectomy what is the best way to wipe/keep clean? I'm afraid to use too much pressure wiping in fear of hurting myself or doing something wrong.
I thought about using a bottle to spray water to clean but then I might accidentally get water in the vaginal opening and I know that is a no-no for 6 weeks.
I am on day 3 of recovery surgery was April 1 - no joke... (still no BM)...

I think the spray bottle, peri bottle (a squirt bottle with warm water) or baby wipes would all be fine. Just don't ut anything up into the vagina, fluids shouldn't get up into the vagina unless high pressure is used.

I though wet wipes would be better, but they kinda stung. So I just dapped with TP and was fine.
