TAH on Plus Size Sister

I am having TAH/BSO on April 26. I believe I have to have a vertical incision due to the size of my uterus.

I am nervous because of my already fat, flabby, hanging belly --- I'm sure he's going to have to cut through 6 inches of pure fat to get to my uterus.

What can I expect from the scar?????

Hello there. I am also overweight and had a vertical incision. The surgery took a long time due to the depth of my belly but all went well.

My scar is very noticeable but it doesn't bother me, really. It's not like I wear a bikini or anything!
