Those w/ enlarged uterus, did your belly shrink

I'm a size 7-9 and my uterus had risen out of my pelvis..I could feel it clearly, but not sure what pregnancy size it would have been.

After surgery I had a larger swollen belly initially than before, but now, at 15 days, it is smaller than before. The walking helps to tone, especially if you haven't been able to exercise much pre-surgery.

I am not heavy, but my stomach sticks out like a five month pregnancy. My uterus is all the way up to my belly button. Although I do not expect to have a flat stomach, nor do I find that important, I hope it will get a little smaller. I can't imagine that it won't once everything is removed. (at least I can hope)

As it stands now I have to buy clothes one to two sizes bigger just so I can close my pants. the Legs are always too big.

My sister had her hysterectomy about twenty years ago, and she never told me how "far along" she was, but the doctor said that her tumor was the size of a small watermelon.

my belly went down instantly.i still get swelly..but my stomach went down bigtime

Well, I'm eight months out now. OH MY, IT'S BEEN EIGHT MONTHS! I was a big girl prior to having the surgery, so the 17-week uterus sort of fit in with all the other bulges. hee hee. I've just noticed in the past month or so that I still got a tummy, but it's just fat now, as it's loose instead of hard like it was prior to surgery.
