3rd week

i am into my 3rd week of recovery for an abdominal Hysterctomy. i went back to work on Monday and Tuesday, but really need to get back to work full force. Going nuts and then of course I feel just mean all the time. I still have some pain in my pelvic a little, but ignorable. Just wondering when I will not feel like jumping down everyones throat and will want to have people around again.

Re: 3rd week

I think everyone heals differently.... I am at four weeks right now and feel better compared with last week. I do get tired easily and then get stressed out easier. I am not back at work and that's a huge difference. I don't have to hurry much and just have kids home for summer vacation who are not on a schedule. That helps. Maybe your body is telling you to take it easier?

Re: 3rd week

Wow - were you cleared to go back to work that soon? I haven't heard of anyone with an abdominal hysterectomy going back in the third week. There is no way I would have been able to. And I have had a very uneventful recovery. Agree that your body may be saying, too much, too soon.
