Discharge - sorry if TMI!!

Please help, I had my surgery 5 weeks ago and the bleeding stopped abput a week later, it then started up again for a few days then stoppede. Today I had some discharge but it looked like the kind I had when ovulating (Sorry if TMI), how is this possible if I had a TAH - I'm confused.

I had a davinci on 11/18, only kept right ovary....funny I never thought I would feel ovulation, for some reason, didn't think it would even ovulate....duh....I don't know why I thought it wouldn't. But I can feel it, just get kinda crampy and lots of clear dishcharge.

Did you keep your cervix? I did not so I have no idea "where" this discharge comes from LOL

Re: Discharge - sorry if TMI!!

Hey bebs. I had an LAVH 6 weeks ago tomorrow and also had my cervix removed. I know it was a different type of surgery, but I still get some discharge, although I can't tell you WHERE it is coming from. It lessens over time, at least mine has. Hang in there, girl. I would call the doctor if you feel too uncomfortable or uncertain about it.

No, I didn't keep my cervix....I have no idea either. That is a good question.

Re: Discharge - sorry if TMI!!

Hi there,
I am just over 3 weeks post op. Had TAH. I had slight bleeding for a few days post op then nothing. Last few days though have had a light brown discharge. Not sure if I should go to Dr or not? What do you think?

Re: Discharge - sorry if TMI!!

I would wait it out, sounds pretty normal to me. If you are worried though, maybe just call and ask your doc.

Re: Discharge - sorry if TMI!!

Been wondering the same thing about the discharge....mine is no longer colored but it is like menstrual cycle discharge and doesn't stop. Very bizarre.
