bumpy skin

what do you use for the bumpy skin i noticed my skin felt bumpy (like ingrownd hairs) in several spots and it seems to develop in an area overnight hate this because i had such smooth soft skin before was not prepared for this

I have had success with using a good cream by the name, Eucerin. It is dermatologist recommended. Are you taking a good multivitamin? It may be you are needing vitamin A or other nutrients that you many not be getting enough of in your diet. If you are taking hot baths or showers and your skin is getting dry, then you might ease up on the hot water . My skin has problems this time of year as well.

If things don't get better, or you see signs of infection, be sure to see your dr for some answers.

My daughter gets bumpy patches like that too. We realized once that they clear up when she takes an antihistamine. She seems to be a bit allergic to laundry soaps or scented bath soap, etc... Not enough to feel sick, just affects her skin, (no itching either). Could it be a reaction to something? Maybe a medication, or something while you were in the hospital? New soap, etc?
