What is the difference between vaginal and laproscopic? Dr. said I couldn't have laproscopic because of lapband i have on my stomach but would try to do it vaginally. I thought they were the same?

In a laproscopic or LSH, they do the whole surgery through 3,4 or 5 small incisions in your stomach. In a vaginal or TVH, they remove your cervix and remove everything through your vagina. There is also a LAVH where they remove what they can through the lap then remove the uterus through the vagina. I know there is a tab at the top of the page called "articles and resources".
