Catheter Problems after hysterectomy

I had to return home with a catheter in situ for 7 days and I am returning tomorrow for this removing.

Has anyone else had issues with a small amount of blood showing in the catheter tube.

I had a nurse out today to unblock it and they did not seem worried but I am now concerned there may be a problem.

I had to go home with a catheter also. I had a fibroid attached to my bladder so my dr. had to cut my bladder. The catheter was kept so my bladder could heal. I had blood up until the day before I had it removed. But it was not as much as when I first went home with it. I had my catheter for 12 days. It could still be healing or irritation. Please let the dr. know when you go in for your visit about your concern.
Hope everything goes well and you can get it removed. I know it is no fun!
