Muddled uterus

My doctor said she opted to take my uterus also when she went in to remove my ovaries cause it was what they call muddled. It was discolored and bumpy. Has anyone else had this? IShe doing a path report on it with the ovaries just in case but thinks it'll be fine. My mom thonks chemo may have done it cause I found out I have stage 3 breast cancer at beginning of yr and carry the BRCA1 gene too. That's reason this surgery was needed aa a precaution sinve that gene makes me prone to ovarian canver

My doctor said my uterus had weird looking fatty deposits and he had no idea what was wrong with it. It was not cancerous though. Hopefully you will have same results

Can u post what they say? My doc said he has done over 3,000 surgeries and never saw that before. He is a very good doctor. I asked this question too in another post but no one else responded.

Oh. Btw I think I read somewhere it has to do with hormones.

Found out today that I had adhesions on my uterus and my cervix was inflamed.. Also had a cyst on my fallopian tube that was benign

I am glad to hear it isn't cancerous. I hope we both don't get more scar tissue or adhesions. I guess we just need to take time to heal. Hopefully they don't grow back! Take care and thx for remembering
