Sad...😢😢

Very sad bc thanks to Endometriosis and now having hysterectomy in Feb my sex life with my husband is over at 42.. I don't have like any desire and I also have fears when even try to get over that fact..we have not been together since Oct!! Bc of endo it was too painful and now since surgery I have not wanted to do anything..i have my ovaries too.to make matters even worse my husband has low T so that also messes us up..I just cry many days bc all that seems to be over for me for good..its so unfair and I just don't think anything will.help..he won't even get shots anymore for it bc I don't ever wanna do anything and his insurance is not covering it so its exp!! It's just all a mess and I don't know how or what can fix it. I guess that part of life is over..I feel like I live with a roommate now sometimes..he.won't even hardly hug me.or touch me even..I just very sad..😢

Re: Sad...😢😢

Hello Mary,

Take a deep breath. I know that what you are going through is one emotional rollercoaster. Perhaps call your doctor to see if there is something that you might be able to take in the meantime in order to help balance things out for you. For instance, I know there is something called Black Cohosh to investigate and possibly talk to your doc about. Anything that will help even a little...?

Also think of it this way... alot of the hubbies were wardens when the surgery first occurred. They took care of us. Made or went out to get some food. Drove us around to the store yet also probably didn't want to touch us because they figured we were porcelain. So not the case.
Travel the lines of first and second base again. Make it fun and tease in order to build that confidence up.

Re: Sad...😢😢

I was told by my gym that there is estrogen cream that can help with that. Remember this too shall pass, and none of it is permanent and hormones can make you sad 9ne minute and ok the next.

I am praying for you and your hubs.

Definitely do not give up. Speak with your doctor and work on alternatives. Also, it does take some effort. I agree with Lisa above, do things like make out and everything BUT sex, get the juices flowing for both of you. Unfortunately, if we don't try, it can compound the issue. This is not hopeless!!
