dVH/RALH 9 days post hysterectomy: How long do I have to wait before cooking and cleaning?

Similarly to a lot of others, my doctor said no lifting but did not want to otherwise restrict me if I felt good. He said to listen to my body and to use any feelings of soreness and/or fatigue as my guideline for doing other activities. I started cooking simple things about 6 days post-op and did dusting and light loads of laundry perhaps another 5 days or so later (which my husband lectured me about lol).
