stitch still showing?

I am now 9 weeks post op and I still have two stitches sticking out. One is just a little end, but the other is a 1/4" inch stitch. The doctor said they would dissolve, but that was 3 weeks ago. Should I call him about this? That scar looks the worst out of my 4 scars anyways. So should I call and ask about this or just not worry?

Hi Tink I had an LSH BSO 2/24 and I am almost 6 weeks post op and also have a couple of stiches showing--maybe 2 in my belly button and one on my right incision--I am hoping the dr will leave them alone at my check up--I would just die if he wanted to pull it or cut it--OUCH

You could make a quick call to the doctor's office and just say that your doctor said three weeks ago that the stitches will dissolve, but that you just want to know what the timetable on that is.
