2 week follow up

It has been 2 weeks already, hard to believe. My Dr said the pathology report was fine and everything was normal. He did an internal exam and said that everything felt fine, and was healing great! He also said that I looked wonderful for having surgery 2 weeks ago, that made me feel nice. I told him I hadn't been taking the Premarin because I was afraid of the Breast Cancer and Dementia risk. He asked if I had been having symptoms I said yes, hot flashes, night sweats, dizziness at times, crying spells. and tiredness. He said that Prempro was the culprit of the breast cancer and that he would not prescribed something that was dangerous. He said that I should feel better within in a few days of being on the Premarin. I told him I was really interested in Bioidenticals and he said that it would be at least a month before I could get in and get an appointment, with labs, and then receiving it. So I came home today and took My Premarin. I go back in 2 weeks, he did say no lifting still over 5 pounds, and nothing in the Vagina for at least 8 weeks.
So all is good!

I am so glad that everything was normal!!! Yay for normal!!!!
It scared me reading about the Meds.
I really don't want to go on something that will give me something else

Congratulations on a great follow up. :-) Mine is Wednesday. I'll be 2 1/2 weeks. I'm really nervous about a possible internal exam. Hopefully it goes as well as yours did.
